WOW! It has been forever.. Hello blog world.. sorry I have been so well not around.. Life has been crazy lately... Work and school and work and school...that's what it all boils down to now a days.. and honestly I need prayer.. I am not happy. I do not feel I am choosing a career that I would love waking up to do everyday.. I am thinking about changing but I dont know yet.
Most of all my heart has been heavy lately because I miss the kids. I think about them and pray for them daily. I hope I will be able to see them soon. If not I might just go crazy.

So I recently posted about how much I miss Haiti! Here are some reasons/things I miss...
The obvious I miss the O.....I miss going to the airport to pick up groups and the game you-you and I played to find "our" tap tap... Don't forget "crutch" either Angela :)

I miss Sunday morning church with Fritzner....
I miss my two partner's in crime.....
How about dinner by lantern... and many other things by lantern too

Meal time.... I miss those slimmy hands and bean sauce kisses! " this is my confession"....I miss my brother DJ LJimix... and his wonderful selection of music...
I miss going through some of the wonderful donations and making a list of things that we really don't need... say wool sweaters or DDDDDD bras....
I miss picking Kenip(I don't know how to spell it)

most of all tho I just miss the kids.... I miss my family!

I just want to go back.
So I have not blogged in a long time. I have been at a lose for words.
This is the first time in 4 summers that I will not be spending my vacation in Haiti and it is killing me.
I have been very busy here at home trying to finish up school... I took a full time job as a nanny for the summer and I just really dont have the money to travel right now.
I hate it. My heart longs for the kids. I find myself waking up every morning wishing I could just hold the kids and love on them.
I miss the smell of bean suace and the sticky hands being rubbed on me...
I miss the giggles and the tears...
I miss it all.
I am praying I will be able to at least go for a week or two in July... I just have to save some money up and do lots of praying!

So it's been awhile since I posted....

Anyways while I was there over Christmas break I had the pleasure of spending just about every minute with these three. From sun up to sun down...literally.

As everyone knows Matu and I have always had a special bond...this trip was

no different... only that these two beauties tagged along... which I had no objection to.

If we were all outside they made sure not to be to far from me... if I went in the room to get something for a nanny... there were right there to help.... when bed time came along it was a small task deciding who was sleeping where.....they three soon became my three stooges.....

I love you and miss you guys!!

I miss all the kids... things have been rough around here lately and honestly I just want to be back with the kids... loving them... holding them..... praying with them... I miss them!

OK so last year I got all the kids dressed up and took each ones pictures for Christmas... Well that did not go over very well so instead this year I had the brillant idea to just take all of their pictures together... I took construction paper and spelled out Joyeux Noel and Merry Christmas... I got all the kids together in the baby room and with Juniors help we tired to take a group picture... well I think I would have let the photographers at sears down but hey its not easy getting 1 child to behave for a picture let alone 40!

So this summer while in Haiti I got to see something so great it made my heart smile everyday... Belle and Matu... let's just say that when Matu wasn't hanging off my hip you could more then likely find her on Belle's. Belle would do everything from pick out Matu's clothes for the day to making sure Matu was in Her bed at night(and by that I mean Belle's bed). Yes she even put maybe 5000 beads in Matu's hair one day. It just made me happy to see such a bond... and boy did Matu just eat up all the attention! So Mama Angela no worries Belle is going to be a GREAT big sister... but I am sure you already know that hehe!

Hey all! So I decided I would just let you in on my boy bc I see the poor antagonizing You You gets and well I'll spare you the trouble because a few of you already asked hehe! Anways he is amazing! His name is Gordon.. He is Jimmy's friend. When I came at Christmas Jimmy and him picked me up from the airport. I didnt know him yet at this point. Well he came over to visit Jimmy a lot and me being super close to Jimmy started asking questions(what can I say the guy is handsome!) Jimmy started making little conversation between the 2 of us and we just clicked. I can trust him with anything. He loves the Lord with all his heart and that is something so important to me. I am never one to get into a long distance relationship but something is differnt about him. In TONS of ways! And although marriage maybe an option someday down the road I am not ready for that yet(sorry to burst your bubble mama Angela) hehe. But yes this is Gordon and I must say I love him very much!

Hey all! So I am home and have posted some pictures... I will continue to post now that I can! Anyways I just wanted to ask for your prayers. I am having a really hard time being home. I have decided to take a semester off from my big university and just take a few classes at our community college and also work full time. I just feel like this is best for me right now... I just feel at a loss right now about everything... My boyfriend(yes he is haitian) really wants to come to study in the states... I am trying really hard to make this dream come true for him but it is not easy by any means... also I really have no clue about how to start the process or anything... I just wish I could snap my fingers and everything would fall into place.. for me and for him... but again though I have to come to the realization that life is not that easy and if you really want something you have to work for it... so please just pray that everything works out...

Have you ever felt like you were living in two worlds? Two complete opposite worlds that you know will never combine? Well that's how I feel right now. I have my life here in Haiti and then I have my life In the states. This is hard. It is always hard for me to leave the comfort I have in Haiti... the comfort of the kids.... my good friend You You.... and yes my boyfriend. On the other hand I have my family back home... my mom... my sister... my nephew... and my granny. The only thing differnt is this time when I go home I will be going home to a completely new home. My mom moved this summer from the house I basically grew up in and I will be returning to a completely different city... a different neighborhood... and a new home. It is going to be hard. Everything about it.... and although I am a strong girl.... I am scared. I just wish there was a way I could combine my two worlds into one. But life is not that easy. So I will say my "see ya laters"(goodbyes) to everyone in Hait... and head back to the states because this is life and I know God is walking with me every step I take helping me to see the purpose he has for me... in both my worlds!

Hey all... So I still have yet to be able to post pictures.... I guess the blogger doesnt like me very much! Anyways I wanted to write a blog about my mom... the reason is in just 2 weeks she will be here in Haiti with me. She is coming with the July 14th group... I am so excited! I have a very close relationship with my mom and I miss her a lot... but I know I am where God wants me to be right now... what I am so excited about is I finally get to share with her first hand my love for Haiti and the kids! My mom is amazing! She raised me and my sister and hey I think she did a pretty darn good job. I believe my mom had a huge impact on the person that I am. She always encouraged me to stay true to myself and to my beliefs even when others thought or felt differently then I did. Also I think my mom is going to love her time in Haiti... she shares the same passion for children as I do.... I just feel so blessed that I have the mom I do and I also feel blessed that she is coming to share in something I love so much!

I am in California with the Grey family and loving every minute of it. Yesterday Carsen and I went and watch cows get branded and Neutered. Wow what a sight to see. Let's just leave it at there. Today was AMAZING though. We went to the Red Woods and to the Coast and it was beautiful!!! It truly is something everyone should do if you come to California. Just seeing those trees made me realize how huge God really is to have created something so amazing and beautiful and just to imagine if He could make something so beautiful on earth how Wonderful Heaven must be! Anyways it was great!I will try my hardest to keep you updated on our adventures. There is much more to come!!!

Ok so I dont kno that I can take this completely seriously but I will try....

1. I have always loved kids even when I was a kid. I got labeled the "mother" in preschool when I helped potty train other kids.

2. I love the rain. I love to play in the rain and I love storms!

3. my absolute favorite color is ORANGE! I am painting my entire room orange at my new house.

4.I am terrified of mice and rats.... well the ones that are not caged. (but I did have a miny hampster.. go figure)

5.I lost 70lbs my junior year of high school.

6. I seem really shy and self reserved until I get to know you and then it is ALL over from there. I usually don't hold anything back.

7. Personally I am not a fan of these "tag" things.. (so ya thanks a lot Carsen) HAHA just kidding I still love you!

I really dislike packing

Ok so this may seem weird but yes I am already done packing for Haiti. I am leaving tomorrow to go stay with my sister for 2 weeks and then will come home Sat. the 26th and be on a plane at 7am Sun. the 27th for California!!! Anyways Whenever I pack I have the habbit of packing and then un-packing and re-packing and sometimes this goes on for days! It is rediclous. Anyways I am sure I will get home Sat. and unpack everything thinking I can fit just a couple more things in and then like always my mom will come in my room and say "Anne! Stop... your bags are going to explode... you really can't fit more.. just give it up!" And I will sit on top of my bag and make her help me zip it. Well needless to say I have A LOT of stuff to go to Haiti. My mom is coming in July(YIPPI) but we will still have extra. So I was wondering what to do with it. It is things like clothes... rubber pants... toys... I dont know it Michele(Joe's wife) is still in charge of donations.. if so I can take them to her or if anyone is going and doesn't have a lot to take. Just let me know! Thanks.

I am oficially done with school for the summer! I am soo happy! It feels like a huge load has been lifted off my shoulders. I had a really rough semeter this year and am so glad it is finally over! Now I am so excited because it is only 17 more days until I am in California and 24 days until I am with the kids!! I am so anxious to get there and see them! Yes I will be home soon enough!!!! PS. OK so I was just thinking how excited I was that Matu and Nicot are going to be brother and sister... I was talking to my mom last night about how exciting it was and then she asked why I felt such a tight bond with Matu and I said I felt like maybe it was because I had went and gave blood for her last summer when she got sick and I said I dont really know why for some reason we just bonded.... then I remember Nicot was in the hospital with her. He fortunatly didnt need a blood transfusion but after I thought about it I was kinda amazed (in a good way) by the fact that last summer they were both the ones to get sick and they were together in the hospital and all along God wanted them to be sibilings! YAY GOD!

So I only have 11 days left of school and then I am done for the summer! I CANNOT wait. I have been so stressed out lately and I have been totally missing the kids... which leads to my next countdow... 29 days till I am in California which I am TOTALLY excited for and then its 36 days until I am back at "home" with my kidos and You You and Carsen and my Brother Jimmy! So yes this is going to be a long 11 days but then time will fly by because I get the joy of going to stay with my sister for 2 weeks because she is going back to work and I get to watch the baby!! So that will be fun... and then before I know it, I will be getting off the plane in California! YAYA.

Prayer Request

So like I said in a previous post things have not been going great lately.. well I guess you have to go through the storm before there is a rainbow... Well last year my Dad was diagnosed with Cancer and went through treatment and they thought they got it all but he called me this morning and said it was back and it is spreading. The doctors told him he might only have a year to live. Needless to say I am kind of a reck. He goes back to the doctor Tuesday for more test and will know better then but I just ask for your prayers. Thank you soo much!

PS... I miss the kids terribly... I just want to be there holding them and playing with them... ;(

So here I am feeling completely lost... I feel like I am on a winding road leading straight to nowhere. I have made so many wrong turns lately I feel like it is going to be really hard to find my way back. I pray but lately I feel the Devil has been working much harder then God. I know that is terrible to say but I just can't find Him. I am letting other people make decisions for me.. ones that I know are not good for me and it hurts. It is like this constant war with myself lately and I am losing the battle slowly. The thing is this is not me by any means. I am a fighter. So I know I need to just keep praying and keep fighting and I know I can win!! I am longing for the kids. I miss them so much... to me when I am there with them its like nothing could go wrong... I mean the kids are AMAZING! They are so full of life and love it is beautiful! So I am going to suck it up work hard these last 2 months and get through this.

While You You was gone over Christmas Noah was my buddie and he def. fell asleep like this one day and Mia came in and saw him and made all the nannies come look at him... she thought it was sooo funny.... This is my FAVORITE picture!!! So everyone knows how much Jonson and Lovely loved each other..... Well this is what I caught them doing one night.... how precious!! Also a little story to touch the heart.... So one day I last summer You You and I went through all the shoes and sorted them... Jonson found these little dress shoes and came up to me and said "for Lovely"... I said sure! So he went upstairs and she was sleeping but he put them on here anyways and then left with a HUGE smile! It was soooooo sweet!
